Happy (late) Saturday!!

How far along: 11 weeks      

How big is baby: About the size of a Lime

Total weight loss/gain: 5 lbs

Maternity clothes: Yeppers

Sleep: Yes please!

Best moment of the week: Spending the weekend with my love and my nephew Maddox. Arcade. Pool. Pizza. Movies.

Food Cravings: Nothing sounds good right now.

Food aversions: Fish and Veggies.

Symptoms: The usual. Tatas. Smells. Frequent bathroom visits. Teenage acne.

Movement: Little flutters mainly at night. Its probably gas. lol.

Gender: Possibly a boy! Just a hunch :)

What I'm looking forward to: I know I still have a while but I cannot wait for the gender reveal!

What I miss: clear skin :(

Next appt: August 7th @ 2pm

Sarasota Weekend!

Last Friday after work we headed down south to Sarasota for a fun filled birthday weekend! We arrived at Daniel's parent's house around  1 am! I was exhausted, I didn't drive (sorry babe!) but I stayed up to listen to our book on CD (Guilty Wives by James Patterson) we rented from Cracker Barrel, it was getting good.

I just could not allow myself to fall asleep!! 

We got up Saturday morning and I headed out with Daniel's mom and sister for some last minute birthday party shopping! It was crazy out, but finally it was party time! I turned into a party pooper though and took a 30 minute nap while everyone else (except Daniel) headed to the pool. I couldn't help it! lol.

We headed back home on Sunday after an amazing brunch with Daniel's parents!

10 Weeks!!!

Hello DOUBLE DIGITS!!!

 I had every intention of posting on Saturday for Week TEN but being out of town kinda messed with my plans...I’ll do a separate post on my weekend in Sarasota with Daniel's family later!





Without further ado... let’s get to business!!! :) 

How far along: Double digits!! 10 weeks!!       

How big is baby: About the size of a prune!

Total weight loss/gain: Technically 1 lb, but since I lost at first I've gained 7 lbs!

Maternity clothes: Oh yes, I attempted to wear some pre prego dress pants with my belly band.. not happening again. So uncomfortable!

Sleep: Getting plenty!

Best moment of the week: Road trip with my love!

Food Cravings: EVERYTHING..except veggies. gag.

Food aversions: See above.

Symptoms: The norm, sensitive tatas, spidey sense of smell, unpredictable tummy issues.

Movement: Still just little butterflies..

Gender: Still predicting a boy!

What I'm looking forward to: THE WEEKEND!!!

What I miss: a wide array of clothing to choose from...

First Baby Item!

We have officially made our first baby item purchase! 

I know this is probably ridiculous to some but its a big deal for me! 

I had mentioned on my 9 weeks post that Daniel and I went carseat/stroller shopping this past weekend. Well we didn't end up buying anything on Saturday but we narrowed down our selection to either the the Britax Travel System or the Chicco Travel System. Of course both of us leaned toward the opposite system! 

After more research and comparisons I won and we decided on the Chicco! :) 

Target had Chicco on sale for around $250 but NONE of our nearby Targets had any available!

Which is just my luck! Fortunately my amazing mother and brother (whom live out of town) found one at a nearby Target! WooHoo!! 

I had my brother put it together to be sure everything was included and functioned properly!

Looks great to me! 

I never thought I would be so excited over a stroller and a car seat!! 

Next purchase?? Possibly the Newborn Rock 'n Play

9 Weeks!

Happy Saturday and happy 9 weeks to meeeee! I can't believe we will be in double digits NEXT WEEK! EEEk!!!

How big is baby: About the size of a grape!

Total weight loss/gain:  4 lbs gained

Maternity clothes: Absolutely! I am in love with my new pants from the Gap!

Sleep: Best part of my day! CRAZY CRAZY dreams though!

Best moment of the week: Car seat/Stroller shopping with my love!!

Food Cravings: Bread. I had 6 croissants today… L I have zero willpower.

Food aversions: Veggies...blah!!

Symptoms: The tatas are still super sensitive, smells are driving me crazy! I swear I can smell the stale bread in the kitchen!

Movement: I feel some little butterflies but I’m sure that’s just my nerves or something! It’s still too early to feel movement right?!

Gender: Right now I’m predicting a boy!

What I'm looking forward to: Our trip to Sarasota next weekend for Layla’s (Daniel’s niece) birthday party!

What I miss: Normal bowel movements!! Lol.

Our Announcement

Since our confirmation appointment we were trying to come up with a cute way to announce our surprise to everyone. 

We tried a few different ideas but we ended up with 2 that we loved! 

They both were a huge hit but most everyone loved the Pickles and Ice Cream.

BTW, Pickles and Ice Cream are NOT YUM! 

8 Weeks!!

8 weeks down 32 more to go!! 

This is not at all what I wanted to post for a bump picture but my creative side is pooped.

How big is baby: About the size of a raspberry! 

Total weight loss/gain:  4 lbs lost, but I'm sure I will gain over this weekend! So much FOOD!

Maternity clothes: Yes! I am so much more comfortable! 

Sleep: Great!!

Best moment of the week: Seeing our little one the big screen! 

Food Cravings: Corn Dogs. lol.

Food aversions: Does fish oil count? Daniel talked me into taking a fish oil pill and the result was horrendous! Never again! lol. 

Symptoms: I am soooooooo tired!!

Movement: Not yet!

Gender: We have to wait until week 20. Boooo!

What I'm looking forward to: Sleep and lots of it!!! 

What I miss: Energy! I feel like a total blob!!

Next appt: August 7th @ 2:00pm

Flooded 4th!

Our 4th of July was a bit disappointing this year, we had record breaking rainfall which caused most of our roads, many homes, and businesses to flood! Needless to say all the activities scheduled around town including the fireworks display were either cancelled or postponed to a later date.

We didn't let the rain get us down though!

The family decided to go and play in the rain (no lightning) and splash through the puddles! 

We ended the day with a nice BBQ our coworkers had, the food was ah - may - zing! I was in HEAVEN!

We couldn't let the day end without a few of our own little fireworks!

 I do want to thank all those who served/serve to protect me and my family! I appreciate all that you do! 

I hope everyone had a safe and amazing 4th! 

Side Note: Almost to 8 weeks!! Yay!

It's Official!

We had our first doctor appointment today to see our little peanut for the first time!!

It was quite an experience and I am beyond excited! 

I am 7 weeks and 3 days along and Baby D is due February 15th! 

My Mom and Daniel came with me and as soon as my mom and I saw that little heart just a beating the tears started streaming! Baby D's heart rate was at 158, however we were not able to hear the heart because it somehow could have hurt the babies ears being so young. Next time!

Shhh. I saw some twinkles in Daniel's eyes but he wont admit it! lol. 

Reminds me of a little baby Dolphin!

I can't really tell anything from this one but hey its a baby!!

We plan on doing something super cute for the Prego Announcement tonight. 

Hopefully it turns out as cute I hope it to be!!
