My 1st Mother's Day!

Our little family didn't do anything extravagant for the weekend but we had a great one!!

The weather was gorgeous! We spent some time at the beach, Daniel tortured our nephew, Maddox.

(Isabelle loves her Sophie!)

This picture cracks me up and I couldn't help but share it!

He kept asking "Uncle Danwul" if he could sit in the hole he was digging and eventually Daniel started filling the hole in with sand and Maddox wanted out before Daniel could get a picture. It was pretty funny. Pretty cruel funny. :)

I did almost have a heart attack this weekend! Maddox disappeared on me and I FREAKED. I guess I deserved it for laughing.....

Once we got back home from the beach Daniel had to run to work for a bit so I put Isabelle down for a nap and had Maddox go lay down so I could pick up the house and have some quiet time. Once Daniel got back and a family friend showed up with his tractor to help us spread out so fill dirt because we are laying sod later in the week I went to go get Maddox so he could ride on the tractor....... Maddox wasnt in the bed, or the room, or ANY of the rooms in the house!!! I looked in every closet, lifted every blanket, and checked outside. True panic set in and I start yelling and Daniel asks me if I checked under the bed.... NOPE. I could kick myself! I found him sound asleep AFTER I had to go get a flashlight because it was pitch black under there. Phew..

Other than that we had a great weekend, Daniel and Isabelle took me out to my favorite Sushi spot and I pigged out!

My present is being delivered later this week....2 pallets of Zoysia grass! lol. I'm a big yard freak. I love working in the yard!!

Overall I had a great Mother's Day and I am so very thankful for my own Mother!

She is my best friend and always will be! I love you Momma!!!

Isabelle's First Easter!

I know I've been horrible at this thing called blogging. I feel like a total failure because I have every intention of sharing this for many years to come with my family, friends, and of course my little ones! So... here is my promise to try much harder at keeping this blog updated. I will not allow it to consume my family time but I will make an effort to actually do something productive during those (RARE) times I don't have anything to do!

Anywho! Isabelle first Easter was pretty low key but it was a success in my book! We spent time with our little family and had a bunch of fun with all the kiddos running around! Who would have thought?!?! I occasionally got emotional envisioning little Miss Elle running around next year hunting Easter eggs and learning about our Jesus our Savior!! Gahhhh !!! Tears!!! :)

I am so excited for all the holidays we get to share with Isabelle and I am so looking forward to all the years to come!!

Isabelle is 4 Months Old!

OMG! Isabelle is growing like a weed!!!

Slowwww down my love!!

I cannot express how much I love this little munchkin!

Stats: 10lbs 8 oz! 23.5 inches long!

Clothing Sizes: Still in 0-3 months! Momma has a baby girl clothes addiction…. So her closet has turned into TWO closets. Poor Daddy had to move all his clothes to my closet! lol

Currently Eating: Milk and Prune Juice… Her pediatrician doesn't want to start solids until 4-6 months adjusted age or until she’s at least 13 lbs. I’m pretty excited to try though!

Sleeping Habits: She is such a great sleeper now!! She is in bed by 8 pm and wakes up around 4 -5 am, this may have sounded horrid to me before but I’ll take it now!! J

New Words/Phrases: She is going to be a talker but gets shy when I try to record her. I’ll get her one day!

Firsts and Milestones: She is officially giggling now!! She won’t go full out for me but she will talk and giggle up a storm for her Daddy!! I absolutely love it! I sit there watching and listening and cry happy tears! She is so stinking cute!!

She has also starting rolling on her side and will sleep like that!

Favorite Things: We still catch her watching TV. I turned on Mickey Mouse Club house just to see how she would react and she watched the entire thing with a huge smile on  her face. SHHH don’t tell her Daddy. He is 100% against any TV watching. Lol.

Number of Teeth: None yet J

Signature Moves: She has figured out that she can lift her little booty up and turn on her side in her swing trying to get a glimpse of the TV and pretty much breaks out of Mommy’s swaddles so we've had to break out the swaddle me swaddler! That does the trick but most mornings I’ll find her arms out and she looks like she has a toga on! We've tried keeping her arms out but she doesn't sleep as well as she does when she is in full swaddle move!

Best Mommy Moment this month: Oh gosh! I get so tickled with everything she does but hands down I am LOVING her giggle sessions with her Daddy!!

I love her so much!
