Christmas is coming!!

and we CANNOT wait!!
All the yummy food, cookouts with friends, fires in the fireplace, oysters, and Daniels AMAZING crock pot cider to just name a few things I'm looking forward to but there is something magical and amazing about the holidays once you have children! I don't think I've been this excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas since I was a little girl. Isabelle will not even remember these days but we definitely WILL!!

This coming week I will be getting a break from school for Thanksgiving break (finals week is fast approaching though!! ugh) so we will be heading home and getting the decorations out and up!! The sad thing is I can't even remember what color theme I have! This time last year I was huge and pregnant with Isabelle so I had no desire in decorating and considering the Christmas we had I am glad we didn't.

When it comes to Christmas lights I am pretty boring, I like the classic look with straight lines and each one has to be perfect!! lol Hopefully Daniel is up for my "plans" and has the Christmas spirit as much as I do! -- Ok Ok I highly doubt he is excited for all the work decorating!

I want to make these so bad!! I think they're all pretty creative!

Love this little tree!

Coal for all the adults!!

I would hate to clean this up but to see the look on our little ones face in a few years would be priceless!!

1st Birthday Prep!

I cannot believe we are so close to Isabelle's FIRST Birthday and her FIRST Christmas!!

It feels like it was just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital!

We have had so much going on but I've tried my best to get started on the birthday festivities! Here are a few ideas I've had for her birthday. Hopefully it all comes out as planned!

We are trying our best to not associate Isabelle's birthday with Christmas so we could focus on her during her special "day" and of course focus on our Savior's birth on his day! So we decided to have her party on December 20th. The scary part is we will be in New York the week before visiting some family! I'm praying I will have EVERYTHING done!

Birthday gift ideas!!
(Just can't decide on which one!)

(I keep telling everyone this is the only birthday I get to choose her theme! If she is as opinionated as her Daddy we will be having a Frozen theme or what ever fad is going on that year (which I've always said wouldn't happen)! LOL ( I can't wait though!)

Oh how we LOVE Fall!

Fall has finally made it to Florida and I couldn't be more excited about it!

The crisp cool air - just kidding - it has been pretty warm here in Florida up until TODAY. lol

We finally have some cool weather to enjoy! I'm just a tad excited!

We have been looking forward to a few of these:

Pumpkin Spiced EVERYTHING

Using the Fireplace

Roasting Marshmallows

Playing in the leaves

Baking OYSTERS

We kicked off our fall festivities a few weeks ago by visiting the pumpkin patch down by St. Augustine with the family and while we were there we ran around in the corn maze (seriously, it took us forever), took a hayride, played with some piglets, and ate kettle corn! We had a blast and we cannot wait to go again next year!

We also had some fun Trick or Treating on Halloween with Maddox and Memaw!

(I'll have to add more Halloween pictures off of the camera later)

She wasn't very happy about her 3rd eye! lol

She passed out before we could get her costume off!
Does this make us bad parents?!
