Surprise!

I usually LOVE surprises! This surprise however, took me a bit to get use to and accept that this is really happening! It all started when two people fell in love..... just kidding.... we are in love but that's not what where I'm going. :) 

Last Wednesday, June 19th, I had researched awful cramping and breast tenderness WITHOUT my period  (this had been going on for over a week) and to my surprise a lot of the same general question pulled up and almost all of them said to take a pregnancy test and just a few said it may be gas. So of course I took the gas opinion and blamed that. LOL. 

I mentioned it to my bestie, Stef who convinced me I better take a test just in case. I was a little hesitant but I went ahead and pulled out the extra test I had leftover from a month or so ago when I thought possibly I could be.

I did my thing and let it sit for a few minutes come back and it shows the little book symbol which is an error. So I thought well... that's that. I'm not going to waste more time and money on another box, my period will come soon!! Something in my lovely head of mine kept nagging to go pick another box up, so I mentioned it to Daniel just to be sure lets pick a box up while we were in Publix. I picked the cheapest brand, got home, did my thing and BOOM automatically that breathtaking POSITIVE sign appears. I yelled for Daniel, started hysterically crying and buried my face in the pillows while he checked to make sure I read the test correctly. (I know how to read!! LOL) He then jumps on his computer to check the accuracy of these things while I still lay crying on the bed, he then asks me check the expiration date on the stick, and to my surprise it had expired in September of 2012!!!! At this point I am a basket case and Daniel is frantically trying to get the box back together and the receipt so we can take it back and get some better tests. We got back home with 3 different brands and 6 tests total. I, again, did my thing and after a couple minutes they all say.... positive. Fast forward to the next morning we decide to finish off the last of the remaining tests with fresh morning urine... again... all positive. That's SEVEN total saying positive!! 

We have an appointment July 2nd at 10:30 to confirm and see Baby D!!

It seriously feels like its taking FOREVER to get here. 

The anticipation is killing me! 

Like I said..this was not the surprise I was expecting but hey.... usually the best surprises are the unexpected ones right?!?!?!?
